47 So they took possession of his land, as well as the land of King Og of Bashan. Both Amorite kings lived east of the Jordan— 48 from Aroer on the edge of the Wadi[a] Arnon as far as Mount Sirion,[b] which is also called Hermon, 49 and all the Arabah east of the Jordan as far as the Dead Sea[c] below the slopes of Pisgah.
